Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to a few of our most frequently asked questions. If you do not get your questions answered here, please email info@jobshout.co.uk

Can I have a demo?

There's a demo site at demo.jobshout.co.uk. Alternatively we will be happy to set up a sample site, reflecting your own branding, and do a demo for you over the internet.

How is Jobshout different from other job boards?

Jobshout is not a job board like Monster, Totaljobs and so on. It is a way of adding a job site to your own website.

Jobshout is Software as a Service (SaaS). In other words it is a hosted service accessed over the web.

Do I need to buy equipment or software?

Absolutely not. Jobshout is software as a service, supplied over the web. There are no hidden costs.

Do I keep my web design and branding?

Yes. Your job site will be an extension of your existing website.

What's the point of having your own job site if no-one finds you?

The point is that putting your job ads online makes your site much more likely to be found in searches that are relevant to your work. And Jobshout optimises each ad for best possible rankings in web searches. Even the smallest agency can perform really well in web searches - that's the beauty of the internet.

Who hosts the job site?

We do normally, but we can automatically send the pages to your own server if you prefer.

What will the address of my job site be?

By default yourname.jobshout.co.uk. You can also use an address which is a subdomain of your existing website (like jobs.yoursite.co.uk)

Does Jobshout just publish jobs?

No. You can use it to manage the rest of your website, and run your own intranet.

What if I want my job site to work differently from the way Jobshout does?

If you find that you need additional features or functionality, or would like things changed, we can oblige.
